Antiakrasics, commonly known as AAKs, are a class of drugs that provide a profound and prolonged improvement to motivation and executive functions, and are typically used as cognitive performance enhancers. AAKs were initially developed by Pharmatica Group and their Akrasinil brand is their most profitable medication and the most widely sold medication system wide.

Antiakrasics are selective agonists of the orexin-2 receptor. A thiazole core and sulfonamide group provide selectivity for OX2R over OX1R, and an alkyl chain aids in crossing the blood-brain barrier. Agonism at OX2R drives the orexinergic projections which gate arousal and effort tolerance, and sustains the prefrontal activity underlying executive control, without the indiscriminate catecholamine tone, although chronic use fragments sleep.
